My current research interests include modeling, analysis, design, and control of power electronic converters/systems and motor drives and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS).

I also love embedded software development for Power Electronic systems with microcontrollers and DSPs.

Here are some of my favorite projects:

·         Firmware development of Multi-Level Flying Capacitor Inverter for Direct Torque Control of Induction Motor Drive System using Texas Instruments TMS320F2812 DSP, Oct. 2009 – April 2010, Tehran, Iran.
·         Control System Design and firmware development of Parallel Three-phase Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) with load sharing using Texas Instruments TMS320F2812 DSP, Tehran, Iran. (Started Sep. 2008)
·        Firmware development of a prototype 5KVA, HVDC Light system. May-Sep. 2007, Tehran, Iran (TMS320F2812)
·         Design and implementation of a nonlinear adaptive control sensorless field oriented control for induction motor using TMS320F2812 TI DSP.
·         Firmware design of a handheld monitor with Motorola 68332 processor using RTXC Real time Operating system, SDS single step debugger and DiabData C Compiler. This handheld monitor with LCD Display and keypad was capable of temperature measurement, data logging and other functions such as battery voltage indicator, calendar, Auto power shut off and “Flash memory Program Update” through RS232 port.
