Majid Moghaddam received the PhD degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Toronto, Canada, in 1996. He is a professor of mechanical engineering at the Tarbiat Modares University, Tehran, Iran. His current research, which focuses on applied robotics and robust H-infty control, is concerned with haptic robotics, rehabilitation robotics, inspection robotics, and rough terrain mobile robot design. He is a member of the Administrative Committee of Robotics Society of Iran.
