    In 2002, Ghoalmhosein Najafi, Ph.D. obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biosystem Engineering from Urmia University. He passed to Tarbiat University for a Master of Science degree as the first-ranked student in University Entrance Exam and graduated in 2004. In the same year (in 2004), he gained admission to Tarbiat Modares University for a Ph.D. program, nominated as the top student entering the university. He successfully passed his Ph.D. dissertation and graduated in 2008. He also attended the postdoc course simultaneously at UMP University, Malaysia and USQ University, Australia. Currently, Dr. Najafi is appointed associate professor in the Department of Biosystems at Tarbiat Modares University and embarks on teaching and research fields.
