PurposeThis study aims to present a systematic review of smart tourism articles using a meta-synthesis method. Effective systematic reviews are essential for assisting stakeholders in implementing smart destinations. A systematic comprehension of studies on smart tourism is needed regarding the various components of smart tourism destinations, the metrics to map these components and their expected results. This study creates a framework for understanding how smart tourism destinations are theorized and developed.Design/methodology/approachBased on the meta-synthesis approach, this study collects, analyzes and synthesizes relevant research in smart tourism published in online databases by following a predetermined review protocol.FindingsThi
The aim of this research was to propose a local model for selecting managers of public enterprises by determining affecting political and non political dimensions, concepts and codes. To achieve this goal, mixed-method approach was applied. In the first step, meta-synthesis was carried out with analyzing 46 aricles from 761 articles (2007-2019) targeted for the research subject. For validation of findingd, Delphi method was used. Eighteen experts were selected and Delphi technique was performed in two stages. Finally, seven dimensions, 20 concepts and 101 codes were extracted. The findings suggested that in addition to nonpolitical dimensions, political dimension, comprised of two intra-organizational interventions (eg, political skills, in

Along with the influence of the Internet and the dramatic advances in the use of information technology in businesses, a new concept has been introduced in the tourism literature called smart tourism destinations. Although studies have been conducted in this area in recent years, the research process is not clear due to the short time of introduction and development of this technology. In addition, the synthesis of knowledge has not been done in order to draw conclusions about the evolutionary nature of this issue and to develop its theories. This study used the paradigm funnel method to fill this gap and investigate the research. For this purpose, 105 articles were reviewed from 2000 to 2017, and after selecting articles, 34 articles were
PurposeBecause of importance of technological learning for less developed countries, the notion has received increasing attention of scholars. The purpose of this paper is to investigate technological learning systematically by assessing the effect of technology transfer actors on technological learning in less developed countries context.Design/methodology/approachThe paper presents assessment model by adopting technological learning concept based on technology absorption and incremental innovation at firm level and identifying key roles of technology transfer actors (State – Scientific and technological infrastructure – Industry) that affect technological learning. The paper follows survey as research methodology. Thus, a questionnair
Infrequent and ineffective usage of IT after initial adoption may incur undesirable costs or results in waste of effort to develop the IT. Therefore, in this research for identifying affecting factors on continuance of information systems, the main factors are defined by reviewing literatu
Intelligent oilfield technology is one of the newest technologies in the oil/gas industry, which is increasingly regarded by international oil companies as a highly competitive advantage in production. The intelligent oilfield has various dimensions and components such as human resources, processes and equipment, but the cornerstone of intelligent oilfield is the effective use and management of field’s big data in order to make strategic and timely decisions on production. In order to achieve the goal of optimal management and utilization of oilfield’s data, in this study, by using PPDM standard and Azadegan oilfield as a case study, the oilfield’s data model is designed in seven specialized subject areas, 70 tables and 2700 columns.
In recent years crowdfunding is created as a web 2. 0 and social network-based on financing for business startups and creative projects. This method has grown in many aspects, such as the number of platforms, the number of campaigns and their success rate, the volume of funding and the number of models offered. This growth has led researchers to investigate this phenomenon of the different dimensions and aspects. So this article is followed by a comprehensive review of the literature associated with this method. In this study, we have done a systematic review of 60 published articles until 2017 about the concept of crowdfunding. The research findings have been summarized. Moreover, the research orientation pattern has been determined by ide
The main contribution of this paper was to present a new model for smart tourism destinations using the steps of grounded theory as an analytical framework. To build the model, a systematic review of articles published between 2000 and 2017 was undertaken. Strauss and Corbin's framework for grounded theory formed the basis of the review process. The first step, which was open coding, involved the collection of a group of primary concepts and the extraction of analytic categories. In axial coding, the relationship between the categories was determined. Using selective coding, all of the identified categories were integrated and built, and 6 main categories and 28 sub-categories were identified. In addition to making an important contribution
In recent years, technological advances have motivated industries, companies and even governments to look for an improved alignment between strategic objectives and technology management, preferably through the application of structured and flexible approaches that use techniques such as technology roadmapping. There are a lot of studies that have presented various models, processes and frameworks to develop technology roadmap and more studies have developed roadmaps based on these contributions. Most of these studies have mentioned that the roadmapping process must be customized in every case. Accordingly, having a model or a framework that represents the most prominent findings of these studies in one view is so helpful for customizing th

ContextCommercial open source software (COSS) and community open source software (OSS) are two types of open source software. The former is the newer concept with the grounds for research such as business model. However, in the literature of open source software, the revenue model has been studied as a business model, which is one component of the business model. Therefore, there is a need for a more complete review of the COSS business model with all components.ObjectiveThe purpose of this research is to describe and present the COSS business model with all its components.MethodA systematic literature review of the COSS business model was conducted and 1157 studies were retrieved through search in six academic databases. The result of the
Nowadays, the importance of studies in customers’ behavior and attitude has been proved. Customer loyalty and its influencing factors in the world of e-commerce are being evaluated from different point of view. Nevertheless, little awareness of e-commerce factors from customers or service providers is a major barrier to the adoption of this business in Iran. On the other hand, the frequent use of vague terms such as" High quality websites" which does not have accurate and standard meanings between different people is another problem in understanding the factors affecting electronic loyalty. In this research, firstly factors influencing e-loyalty was studied and then fuzzy inference engine was designed using fuzzy logic and fuzzy rules wer

Knowledge hiding is one of the new concepts in the management of organizational knowledge. Although the nature of the relationship between projects teams members will have a substantial impact on the knowledge hiding behavior, different characteristics of Knowledge can also affect knowledge hiding. Based on the behaviors of the project teams, the aim of this research is to identify what characteristics of transferred knowledge between team members will lead to hiding or sharing it. The research model consisted of 4 variables: knowledge complexity, knowledge uniqueness, knowledge relatedness and knowledge sharing cost determined by the review of the literature and consultation with experts in management. The project team members were randoml
