Research and Scientific Activities:

1994, He joined Tarbiat Modares University as an Assistant Professor and was promoted to Professor in 2006.

1994-2006, He was the head of the Semiconductor Department of Laser Research Centre, Tehran, Iran.

1996-1997, He became the Research Vice President of the Iran National Scientific Research Centre.

1998-2005, He was a member of the Energy Commission of the National Scientific Research Council.

1994-now, He had long term collaboration with Iran Telecommunication Research Center (ITRC) as scientific research advisor.

1997-1998, He was the member of the Committee for Technical Plans and Research Projects at the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology.

2006-2008, He has been the head of the Electrical Engineering Department of Tarbiat Modares University.

2008-now, He has been a member of editorial board of International Journal of Communication and Information Technology.

2000-2005, He was the Editor-in-Chief for the Journal of Science and Technology.

1998-2005, He was a member of the Energy Commission of the Iran National Scientific Research Council.

2005-2009, He was a member of the Board of Trusties for National Microelectronics Research Center.

2007, He was the technical and scientific Chair of 13th Iranian Conference on Optics and Photonics.

2008, He was the General Chair of the 16th Iranian Conference on Electrical Engineering (ICEE2008).

He is the member of the Founders-Board of Iranian Society for University-Industry Relations Development.

He is the member of the Founders-Board of Optics and Photonics Society of Iran.
