Aquaculture facilities at TMU were established in 2002, which includes four research spaces for warm and cold-water fish culture, as well as ornamental fish. Each of these spaces includes several tanks (100, 300 and 1000 L) and aquariums. These facilities also provide basic research environment for initial activities, such as blood sampling, anatomy, and so on. Overall, this center provides a joint multidisciplinary platform for aquaculture research and education. It assembles researchers and students in the field of aquatic genetics, aquatic physiology and immunity, aquatic nutrition, water quality in fishpond and toxicology.
