Curriculum Vitae of Masoud Tabari

Biography:

- Masoud Tabari Kouchaksaraei was born on 23 April 1957 in Ghaemshahr, Mazandaran, Iran.

- In 1982, he graduated in Forestry (B.Sc.) From the Faculty of Natural Resources, University of Tehran.

- He then worked in the years 1983-1986 at the section of Agriculture and Natural Resources, the Planning and Management Organization.

- In 1987-1995 he was employed at the Forests and Rangelands Organization, Afforestation and Parks Bureau, and started his activity at the supervision and coordination section on executive Projects of afforestation and reforestation across the country.

- He followed the M.Sc. of Forestry at Faculty of Natural Resources, University of Gorgan in 1989-1992.

- In 1995 after being moved to the Faculty of Natural Resources, Tarbiat Modares University (TMU), he was awarded a doctorate scholarship by the Ministry of Culture and Higher Education of Iran.

- He started his Ph.D. studies under supervision of Prof. Dr. Ir. Noël Lust at the Laboratory of Forestry, Faculty of Agriculture and Applied Biological Sciences, University of Gent, Belgium and graduated in September 1999.

- Since October 1999 he has being worked as Assistant Professor in Faculty of Natural Resources, Tarbiat Modares University and since 2004 as Associate Professor and since 2012 as Full Professor.

- In 2001-2003 he was Head Department of Wood Technology and Paper Industries, and in 2004-2008 Manager of Experimental Forest of University.

- During 2009 to 2012 he has being worked as Head Department of Forestry.

- He was known as superior researcher of Tarbiat Modares University in years of 2003, 2005, 2007 and 2009.
