Water Engineering and Management


 

Department of Water Resources Engineering of the Faculty of Agriculture started its educational and research activities in 2006 with the admission of graduate students. Currently, it is engaged in the training of graduate and post graduate students and is regarded as one of the most up-to-date and most capable engineering and water management departments in the country. This departments main mission concerns the education and training of qualified specialists who can function as qualified personnel in policy making and executive positions with a comprehensive view on various issues of water resources management as well as conducting specialized studies and researches. They are also expected to fulfill research needs at various local, national and international levels. At present, this department has 5 faculty members consisting of one full-professor, one associate professor and three assistant professors and it offers programs in two areas of engineering and management of water resources.
