Teachers Day celebrated at TMU

Dr. Gholami, the Minister of Science, Research and Technology who was a guest at this ceremony, pointed to the post-revolution scientific developments in Iran and said: "we need to make this potential more tangible in the society, so we look for alumni who can change the present attitude". Scientific development is manifested by qualitative indexes, and we pride ourselves on the present status of our country in this regard. We expect the higher education system not only to preserve the present indexes and its active participation in scientific communities of the world, but also pay close attention to the outcomes of their research endeavors for Iranian people”.

In another part of his speech, Dr. Gholami, referred to the programs and policies at his respective ministry such as the enhancement of research, revision of curricula et cetera.
