An academic delegate from Sapienza University of Rome (Italy) met with TMU officials on 25th of May.
At the beginning of this meeting, Dr. Fattollahi, the vice-chancellor for Research and Technology Affairs, briefly introduced TMU to the visiting delegate.
Then the members of the visiting delegate expressed their willingness to cooperate with TMU on certain common grounds.
During this meeting, faculty members and heads of departments present discussed academic grounds for further cooperation between the two academic bodies.
Dr. Fattollahi, addressed the Italian delegate and said: “both Iran and Italy enjoy a long history of civilization and the world owes many of its present important achievements to these two countries. The close cooperation of these two great nations can create huge potentials for humanity”.
He further added that it is of paramount importance that we facilitate the collaboration between scholars without being trapped by political constraints.
He pointed to the great potentials in both countries in different scientific and engineering fields which need to be identified for better implementation.
At the end, TMU offered its proposed MOU draft to the Italian delegate prior to the finalization of the joint collaboration agreement by both parties.
