The need for commitment and moral development was the special motto of this first scientific event. The use of creative presentation in the provision of top graduate research abstracts, creating scientific and research dynamics and an interactive, collaborative atmosphere among students to transfer knowledge and top research topics to newly-admitted students, strengthening the spirit of constructive competition among students and encouraging the students’ associations to play a more active role in applied scientific and research activities, introducing the applied aspects of researches for establishing a rapprochement between the university and community and industrial sector, creating incentives for paving the way for the implementation of the top research ideas, stressing the importance and necessity of scientific ethics in the presentation of research achievements were some of the objectives of this round of competition.
