The third Iranian-French Geopolitical Group meeting was held at the Paris in the attendance of two Political Geography department's academic on May 16th and 17th.

Dr. Mohammad Reza Hafeznia and Dr. Sirous Ahmadi, accompanying three senior diplomats in the country, attended the third the Iranian-French Geopolitical dialogue meeting with the theme of Middle East's geopolitical and the European Union role in it. They discussed and exchanged views with a number of prominent French geopolitician, diplomats and international relations specialists.

Dr. Sirous Ahmadi, political geography faculty member said at the meeting it was emphasized that the Middle East future would see noticeable developments and Iran is the only country that can control radical terrorist groups in the region.

If the terrorist groups in the Middle East are boostd, their violence will be spread to Europe and the European cities will target by these groups' terroristic operations. Therefore, for the Europe and the region security, it is necessary to expand cooperation with Iran.
