Rules for using library

The rules for using the central library of Tarbiat Modares University (TMU):

1. All the faculty, students, and staff of TARBIAT MODARES University are the main members of the central library.
   
2. All the faculty, students, and staff of TARBIAT MODARES University as well as Ghadir members, postgraduates, and other units relevant to the university (with a letter of introduction) can borrow books by presenting personnel card, student card, Ghadir card, and postgraduates card to Circulation department.
   
3. Borrowing books to the faculty and students of other universities as well as research institutions is possible only if there is a contract between them and TMU.
   
4. Any kind of services provided by the central library of TMU to other universities’ users and research institutes is possible only by presenting a credible university ID card or an authoritative letter of introduction from research centers and other centers …
   
5. Renewing and reserving the books and observing the individual borrowing status is possible via Internet. The members can go to the Circulation department of the TMU library to receive complete information about their status. If you have no access to the Internet, you can contact with this phone number for renewing the books: 82883244
   
6. BA students can use the library by presenting a credible university ID card from 2 pm to 9 pm every day.
   
7. Taking out the references books, theses, journals, disks and the attached materials to them from their relevant sections is forbidden. It is possible to photocopy them.
   
8. Bringing any kind of electronic and photographic means into the library such as portable computers, digital cameras, etc. is forbidden.
   
9. Bringing any kind of bags, papers (except up to 10 pages), books (except the borrowed books from the central library), box-files and pamphlets into the library is forbidden.
   
10. Study rooms is open round the clock for those people mentioned above in the item 1.
    
11. Eating, smoking, and using mobile in the library space is forbidden.
    
12. Children are not allowed in the library. 13-Being silent is obligatory in different departments of the library.

14. The working hour in the library is 7:30 am to 9 pm from Saturday to Wednesday and 8 am to 1 pm in Thursdays.
