The objective and activities of this department are
• Conducting M.Sc. and Ph.D. Programs to achieve the followings
  • The most new technology of the subject
  • The advanced research methodology and innovation
  • Training experts in this field
• To identify scientific requirements of the country in the related fields through attending and holding research and executive conference
• To raise scientific knowledge of the academic members through paper presentation in the international journals and attending the international conferences held in the subjects and related fields such as:
        Hydraulic Structures, Mathematical, Physical, and Hydraulic Models, River Engineering, Optimization Methods and Techniques in the development of irrigation networks and hydraulic structures
• To strengthen communication with water industry through cooperation with executive agencies
