Study Center for Religious Culture & Thought 

In order to accomplish a part of research obligations of Ministry of Science, Research and Technology as well as help resolve research needs of the country in the field of cultural and religious thought, the Center of Cultural Studies & Religious Thought affiliated to Tarbiat Modares University in Tehran succeeded in getting the final approval from the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology in December 2007.

The center aims to identify, evolve and profit from scientific capabilities and strengths and accomplish university researches in the field related to culture and religious thought. It also aims to organize researches and theses to suffice basic needs and create suitable framework for establishing creative scientific relations and coordination between experts/thinkers from universities and religious seminaries at national and international levels as well as to perform proper role of Tarbiar Modares University in order to achieve the target it enshrined in its constitution. The active research groups in this center includes theology and religious philosophy, education and religious training and, sociology of religion.
