Figures:
• Head of Center (as the Chief of the Research Council)
• Vice-President (as the Secretary General of Research Council)
• Heads of Center’s Research Groups
• 2-5 Experts of Varied fields related to African Affairs and Issues
• Education Deputy of Foreign Ministry or his plenipotentiary representative
• Research and Educational Deputy of Islamic Culture and Relations Organization or his plenipotentiary representative
• Clause 1- The edicts of the Research Council members will be emitted by the university chairman for two years.
• Clause 2 – The head of center can invite experts to attend the sessions without vote right in necessary situations.

Duties and Latitudes:
• Survey and confirmation of center’s research plans
• Compilation of policies and scientific programs
• Supervising publication of books, in addition to scientific and research journals
• Survey of requirements in scientific, research and publication areas
• Defining the policies and the centers’ programs for scientific relation with other educational and research centers in Iran and abroad; within the certain criterions and regulations
