A graduate of Teachers Training University (1974-1978), recipient of national scholarship for MSC and Ph. D. in Plant Biology in the USA between 1979-1987 in Plant Biology from Western Illinois University and University of Illinois, working on mycorrhizal symbiosis and fungal antagonism and decomposition, respectively. I have done research on mycorrhiza, ecosystem valuation and analysis, phytoremediation and biodiversity.
