    Journal Paper , Volume 28 , Issue 11000487, 2019 January 1, {Pages 89-96 }

    Abstract

    There are several outstanding factors engaged in the cement grouts filtration. These factors can be evaluated from some aspects including the characteristics of the grout, cement and grouting materials, grouting environment, interaction between the grout and environment and grouting pressure among which fewer studies have been performed on the role of the grouting pressure in the grout filtration. In this research practical results of cement grouting have been reviewed in two dam projects as examples. The results depict that the increase in the grouting pressure considerably affects the rate of cement take and penetration. In practice, the cement penetration rate into the rock is higher when the grouting pressure is variable. This is vice v

    Abstract

    One of the most prominent features of the self, regarding the innate dimension and identity, is manifested through the negotiation and encounter with the other as an effective and opposing element. Cultural and civilized encounter and relationship with the other, firstly depend on the nature of the self, its problems with the other, and on the problems of the society in which it lives. Therefore, the other is reflected and manifested through establishing communication with the self. This communication might be demonstrated in various forms, for instance, a positive and friendly interaction, negotiation and dialogue, or dialectic. Whatever this communication is, it results in leading the self to the manifestation and interpretation of itself

    Abstract

    Intellectual and cultural invasion, a new type of colonialism, makes it possible to alienate nations without war. The reflection of such an invasion on identity appears sometimes as schizophrenic symptoms, which turn the colonized into psychos alienated and disconnected from reality. Since issues such as I-Other challenge, and its clear manifestation, namely duality of East/West, are among the most important concepts of post-colonial literary criticism, post-colonial literature, especially the novel, has widely discussed the problem of identity. Arab writers have repeatedly referred to the encounter of the East and the West, and its reflection on post-colonial identity. Using the East-West encounter in the form of men and women relationship

    Abstract

    Civilization means pervasive progress in areas such as justice, relationships, behaviors and cultures of two groups. Each civilization presents to other civilizations intentionally or unintentionally what it owns. What leads to the dialogue between civilizations is their relationships and conflictions through wars and conquests as it happened in the history and is depicted sometimes in literary texts. Image recognition is a science which presents the image of a country or a nation in a way that helps the researcher to discover the presented images. Of the structures of this science is the image of the other which is contrasted with the image of ego. Baha Taher, the contemporary Egyptian novelist dedicated part of his novel Vahat Al-Ghoroob

    Abstract

    Imagology is to search for the image of the other in the literary text. Imagology allows the knowledge of man by man which highlights us the essence of humanity. Then we proceed to a world of brotherhood which is in close contact with us. And if we look at this essence, we will find not only interaction with others which highlights the importance of comparative literary studies in our relations with the other.
