The present study examines the influence of creative drama on the creativity of 4 to 6 years old children. Accordingly, using a multi-stage cluster sampling, 52 children (21 girls and 31 boys), of district of Ahwaz city, were chosen and then randomly divided into two groups of experimental (33 people) and control (19 people). The researched was directly involved in intervention as regarded the experimental group. The intervention group participated in creative drama activities for two months (15 sessions). The creativity level of the children in these two groups, before and after the intervention, was measured using the creativity test of Jean-Louis Cellier? This test includes verbal creativity, completing and interpreting the pictures that
It is necessary to seek out the origins of the modern world’s problems in their theoretical and intellectual infrastructures, which are based on concepts. This paper aims to study the modern crisis of identity from the viewpoint of the evolution of the Subject. The Subject is one of philosophy’s more complex concepts, and its complexity can be analyzed through its historical evolution. It has been connected with meanings such as subjectness, subjectivity, subjugation, and subjection, and each of these meanings contain a part of the Subject’s complicated definition. In addition to calling the concept of the human subject into question, this paper demonstrates that we are witnessing a rise in feelings of insecurity and meaninglessness.
Anxiety disorders have a relatively high prevalence in most countries. Chemical drugs used to treat anxiety have some unwanted side effects. Therefore, using medicinal plants is useful. Citrus aurantium L. (CaL) flowers are used in Iran to treat anxiety as a folk medicine. We investigated its anxiolytic and sedative effects. We used elevated plus maze and pentobarbital sodium sleeping time tests to evaluate the anxiolytic and sedative effects of CaL flowers on CNS, respectively. In addition, by using extracellular single unit recording technique, we evaluated the depressant action of CaL on neuronal activity of basolateral amygdale (BLA), one of the major structures involved in anxiety. CaL flower aqueous extract (62.5, 125?m
What we call" tragic culture" in this article is the result of Nietzsche and Artaud's approaches that found the aesthetic patterns of it in ancient Greek tragedies and “theater of cruelty’’. So from the perspective of Nietzsche and Artaud, Theater acts as a model for aesthetic justification of the existence. The ultimate goal of this paper is a definition of a kind of culture that is on the basis of such a perspective. The aesthetic culture takes place against the kind of culture that tries to reduce life to an ideological and subjective element. So in the end, in addition to a comparative study, we will see that the unity that exists in the modern culture is a false unity that is imposed by an external element, but the true meaning o
The objective of the present investigation was to assess the possible involvement of GABAergic mechanism in analgesic effect of aqueous extract of Origanum Vulgare (ORG) in a rat model of acute pain test. Sixty-three anaesthetized male Wistar rats (200-250 g) were cannulated into the left ventricle. Five to seven days after the recovery from surgery, ORG extract was intraventricularly injected at dose of 3 μg/rat icv Then, baclofen (10 mg/Kg, IP), CGP 35348 (100 nmol/Kg, icv), muscimol (1 mg/Kg IP) and bicuculline (5 mg/Kg IP) were separately injected 20 min before the injection of ORG. The experimental groups were compared with intact (control) group (n= 7). The response latency of rats to thermal stimulation was recorded using Tail-Flick

Although theatre and play entered into Arabic literature during the contemporary period, with a review of classical Arabic literature, we find narratives and anecdotes that have considerable exhibitory or dramatic contents. Introducing such stories, we could provide invaluable resources to contemporary dramatists and thereby report past literal works for contemporary generation and provide contemporary exhibitory works with more mature content and richness. This article is an attempt to measure exhibitory capacity of Hariri's Maqamat.
Background and Objectives: Opiodergic system has important role in pain control. Origanum vulgare is a folk medicine with analgesic properties which is widely distributed in the north and northwest parts of Iran. The mechanism of therapeutic effects of Origanum vulgare is not understood. The aim of this study was to evaluate the intervention effect of opioid agonist (morphine) and antagonist (naloxone) on analgesic effects of Origanum vulgare. Methods: In this study 28 Male Wistar rats (200-250 g) were used (n= 7). The rats were anaesthetized by ketamine (80 mg/kg) and xylazine (10 mg/kg) and a cannula was inserted into the left ventricle according to atlas of Paxinos characteristics using stereotaxic apparatus. The animals were allowed to r
Background: Hippocampus is well known to be involved in learning and memory. It is proved that antioxidants improve learning and memory. Origanum vulgare L. ssp. Viridis (ORG) is a rich source of antioxidants. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of intra-hippocampal injection of aqueous extract of ORG on spatial learning and memory.Materials and Methods: Twenty-eight adult male Wistar rats (275-300gr) were used in this study. The animals were bilaterally canulated in dorsolateral Hippocampus. One week after recovery the animals were trained (4 trails for four consecutive days) in Morris water maze (MWM). Then, the retention of spatial training was evaluated in the fifth day. Twenty minutes before the training or retrieval te
Background: Barrel cortex of rodents is responsible for sensory information processing via facial whiskers. Locus coeruleus (LC), main source of cortical norepinephrine (NE), influences tactile sensory processing. In this study, the effect of phasic electrical stimulation of LC and sensory deprivation following the deflection of adjacent whisker on response properties of principal whisker related-neurons in layer IV of rat barrel cortex was investigated.Materials and Methods: Response properties of 18 neurons in controls and 22 neurons in sensory deprivation group (P4) were evaluated using extracellular single unit recording following the controlled deflection of adjacent whisker or before a combined deflection of principal and adjacent whi

Conclusion Upon Our results, we may conclude that chronic whisker deprivation could induce plastic changes in the pattern of afferent projections to vibrissa related sensory and motor cortex.
