    My name is Shadab Shahali, and I am an associate professor, in the department of reproductive health and midwifery, Tarbiat Modares University, Tehran, Iran. I graduated from the Tarbiat modares university in 2015 with a Ph.D. Degree in reproductive health. While in university, I earned the 2005 and 2009 outstanding student awards and national best dissertation on violence award for my academic performance.

    Violence against women and girls (VAWG) has been significantly increased by the rise of conflict and insecurity in the territories under controlling so-called Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS). This review aims to provide an understanding of the consequences of ISIS sexual violence against women. Electronic databases including MEDLINE, Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, JSTOR, Web of Science, Scopus, Science Direct, ProQuest, and Google Scholar are searched for the articles published from 2014 to 2020.     Introduction: Coronavirus 2019 is an emerging infectious disease. During an outbreak of infectious diseases, pregnant women and their fetuses are at high-risk populations.     Abstract

    Objective: To compare the effect of shallomin (pure fraction of Allium hirtifolium) with podophyllin 25% solution on external genital human papillomavirus warts in women.Methods: This study was a randomized controlled trial which was performed on two groups of 25 Iranian women with external genital warts at Imam Khomeini Hospital in Ahvaz, Iran. In the first group, shallomin was used once a day for six weeks at home. In the second group, 25% podophyllin solution, was applied on the lesion once weekly for six weeks.Results: Shallomin and podophyllin resulted in wart clearance in 13/23 (56.5%), and 12/24 (50%) of patients, respectively.     Abstract

    Method: This qualitative study was conducted using content analysis method in 2016. Data were collected by semi-structured group interviews with 25 parents of 10-19-year-old adolescents who were living in Ahvaz and selected using purposive sampling method. Data were analyzed by qualitative content analysis.Results: After data analysis, 29 codes, 7 sub-themes (contradiction of parental views, parental confusion, barriers to communication with adolescents, the multiplicity and complexity of the sources of sexual information, cultural taboos, the lack of understanding of the need for sexual education, the missed role of school in sexual education) and one main theme (challenges of sexual education in male adolescents) were obtained.Conclusion:
